Have you ever wondered why there are so many youtubers out there trying to create different kind of content?
Well! You probably know already a part of the answer. It is exactly because there are also many people watching. Here are three reasons why the number of content creators keeps growing on YouTube:
1. People are in search of new ways of earning money
Who doesn't want to be financially independent? I have seen many young content creators on YouTube lately, and wondered for a while what they are doing there.
One of my YouTube friends is only 15 years old, and yet she creates great tutorials on video editing. A colleague's son who is only 12 years old told me that some of his classmates own a YouTube channel, because they want to earn some money in order to become independent. Very funny right? Yet true! If 12 years old kids want to be financially independent, how much more would an adult?
It is not false that you can make money from a YouTube channel. Actually, you can make millions from a YouTube channel, but it is important to keep in mind that this comes as the result of a long process of hard work, with all kinds of difficulties along the way.
2. Many people look for new hobbies to keep themselves busy during their spare time
If you are looking for a great activity to keep yourself busy, I suggest you start a YouTube channel on a niche you have passion for. This will keep you very busy. Talking from experience, since I started my riddle challenges channel, I don't have any time left for myself. After posting videos, you have to find different social network groups to advertise your videos, which by the way is not an easy job for a new youtuber even if they are creating amazing content.
One proof that many people start a new YouTube channel as a time killer is the fact that during the 2020 lockdown induced by the COVID-19 in almost all countries around the world, several new channels have been and are being created. I am pretty sure that this has something to do with the additional time that many people had as a result of staying at home all the time. Now, many of such channels would not last for very long time because as soon as life comes back to normal, people who did not have a profound motivation underlying the YouTube channel would stop creating new content. It is therefore important to have a stronger motivation and not create a channel just as a time killer. This brings us to our third and very important point.
3. The motivation of sharing your knowledge or passion with others

Actually, if you come across a video on a topic that is interesting, and you know you need to watch it, and in addition the creator is full of enthusiasm, how can you be indifferent?
Do you know any other motivations for a content creator to start a new YouTube channel? What is important in your opinion for a new youtuber to stay focused and motivated until his channel takes off? Write it down in the comments below, and I will be glad to read and answer you.

Sometimes, if you don't see comments, it is because they went into spams. Try to look for spamed comments on that particular video.
